Hahn Revives Plan for Elected County Mayor in June Ballot
Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn proposed placing a County Charter amendment on the June 1976 ballot to elect a county mayor with a six member staff limit. The plan would create checks and balances in county government and reduce deputy totals. Hahn believes he has three votes to pass it.
