Piles flurry of lawsuits Layman fires blitz at legal profession
Alex Brown, 27, a self styled pupilist of the old school, has filed a blitz of lawsuits across issues from freeway condemnation to the American Medical Association. He argues the legal system is too remote from the people and aims to bring law back to citizens. Brown, pursuing a social justice doctorate, says the actions challenge equal protection and seek free air time for candidates and curb ads exploiting gender appeal. He has begun with federal suits and petitions and plans to run for local office.
