Cousteau forecasts amphibious humans at depth
Jacques-Yves Cousteau spoke after a Naval Academy oceanography symposium about a future amphibious human who could live underwater using a reoxygenating liquid system. He cited medical research as the path and noted depths up to 9000 feet with no heavy gear. He warned against ocean dumping of chemical agents and cited pollution as a danger.
