Mummy on Long Beach Pike Turns Out Real Corpse
Homicide detectives determined a 1000 year old mummy on display at Laugh in the Dark at the Long Beach Pike is a real corpse found during filming of The Six Million Dollar Man. Fire and coroner officials traced the remains to an elderly male of Mexican or American Indian origin. The body, 5 feet 3 inches, is nude except for fluorescent paint with fingers missing. it had been on display since 1971 after being bought from a wax museum. Police were unsure of any crime and questioned the Laugh in the Dark owner.

A Nash fire in a Paramount engineering plant Wednesday night injured four brothers, one seriously, and caused more than 15000 dollars in damage.
