Farm aid infractions probe hits Kern County farms
Kenneth Frick administrator of the Agricultural Stabilization Service says about one third of Kern County farms show problems in farm subsidy programs. A large trust farm managed by his brother is cited, with subsidies potentially totaling about $25 000 this year. Frick notes some land set aside is nonproductive or less productive than active land. Final determinations and penalties will be made by a county committee.
