Priest Gets Prison for Girl Spree
In Superior Wisconsin Reverend Lawrence Dudinc former St Mary Hospital chaplain pleaded guilty to abducting Rosalie O Connell of Gebhart Minnesota from the capital where she was admitted for nervous condition treatment. Judge A Walter Dahl sentenced him to three years in state prison in a closed session. The case mirrors earlier charges against Fr Dudinik described as a reformed alcoholic. Dudink was returned to Superior after arrest in a Phoenix motel and waived preliminary hearing, bound over to superior court. Authorities noted Wisconsin treats kidnapping and abduction of minors separately.
