Camp Pendleton KKK leader claims role as charges rise
At Camp Pendleton a Klan leader named by Cpl Daniel Bailey Jr identified himself as the exalted and proclaimed widespread KKK activity on military installations. Eleven other Marines face charges in connection with the November raid, with six white Marines hospitalized and weapons found during a barracks search. Bailey said Klansmen are active at Pendleton and other bases, and he claimed leadership of KKK at the base after Randall Clouse departed.
