Allaway sanity hearing hears testimony on premeditation
In Santa Ana Superior Court the prosecution rested its case in the sanity hearing for Ed ward C. Allaway the mass murderer. Dr Seawright Anderson testified Allaway showed inner anger and an ability to know what was going on while defense psychiatrists argued he was incapable of premeditation. The case featured testimony from victims’ relatives and former wives detailing paranoia jealousy and disputes with coworkers as Allaway had been convicted of multiple murders and awaits deliberations. A Downey cyclist died after running a red light in a separate crash on Woodruff Avenue.
