Girl, 12, Struck by Car In Crosswalk Injury Reported
A 12 year old girl was struck by a car at Willow Street and Josie Avenue in a crosswalk. She was thrown about 30 feet and sustained a left leg fracture and possible left pelvic fracture. She was admitted to Community Hospital. The driver was Gladys Pauline Drake, 53, of 1933 Shipway Avenue.

Car Handle Pierces Arm Of Cyclist In Wardlow Incident
A 10 year old bicyclist was injured when a car door handle hit him and another boy on Wardlow Road near Karen Avenue. David J. Wickham, 10, of 3516 Karen, received a deep laceration to his left arm and other injuries and was taken to Osteopathic Hospital. Jeffery Johnson, 9, of 7106 Ward-Jow, was treated for pavement burns and released. The car was driven by Joyce J. Hawkins, 30, of 3848 Stevely Avenue.
