Kirschke Gets Life After Commutation Hearings
In a packed courtroom Judge Parker commuted Jack Kirschke from death to life imprisonment. Attorney George Davis said the reversal was earned and he will appeal. Deputy Probation Officer Eisman noted Kirschke denied guilt and had an unblemished reputation before the murders. Kirschke delivered to state custody then to a prison system with possible transfer to San Quentin or Folsom. Madame DeFarge, once a critic in court, voiced that the judge did him dirt.
