A Mexican gunboat seized the Texas fishing vessel Sting Ray in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday. Skipper James Sylvester and crewmen Ernest Botscue and Troy Osborn of Brownsville were aboard the Sting Ray, which was towed toward Tampico, Mexico.
