Oklahoma City Boycott Postponed by NAACP Leaders
Oklahoma City NAACP said the downtown boycott of retailers was postponed for at least a week at the request of the Oklahoma City Retail Merchants Association. Demonstrations against five restaurants that refuse to serve Negroes will resume today after a 9 a.m. prayer meeting, with about 500 participants from the NAACP youth council.
