Harbor College stages Jesus Christ Superstar

Harbor College mounts an ambitious production of Jesus Christ Superstar with performances over the weekend and again Thursday through Sunday. Ken Barr's King Herod delivers a striking moment while Chris Belyea and Henry Johnson lead strong acting turns, though some singers struggle with pitch and the chorus lacks space energy. The show’s lighting and costumes are notable, and at a $2 admission it ranks highly among college productions.
