DA sues L A auto firm on overcharging count
The Los Angeles District Attorney filed a civil lawsuit against Murphy Lincoln Mercury at 1940 Lakewood Blvd charging the dealership with overcharging customers by more than 70000 during January and February rebate sales. DA Joseph Busch says the firm raised a 1974 Capri by 391 despite Ford’s purported 500 rebate. Darvin Nassa of the dealership calls the claim untrue and says they will fight the suit vigorously.
