Army sergeant tells Senate of wrongful drug abuse label

A decorated Army sergeant testified at a Senate hearing that a wrongful evaluation nearly wrecked his career and jeopardized his citizenship and the adoption of a Vietnamese war orphan. He said he was stripped, detained, and later cleared, but the erroneous record lingered and could still affect his adopted son. He urged protection for those wronged and thanked officers who helped clear his name.
