Only relatives attended after which luncheon was served and the couple left for a brief wedding tour. They will reside in Salem. The event was celebrated with social notices in Independence with well wishers.

Bold burglar robs Sixth Street home in daylight theft

E Zouk reports a burglar entered his Sixth Street residence last week. He awoke Tuesday night to prowlers, fired a shotgun, and the intruder fled after smashing a lamp. On Thursday a window entry allegedly yielded a gold watch a revolver and $25 in cash, though the thief later returned the watch. The home was unguarded when the second entry occurred.

On complaint of NM. J. Kirkiweied Wennesitpy Frank Tuffom was arrested and brought before Judge Wilson charged with using abusive and obscene statements in the presence of a plaintiff’s daughter. Constable Moran served the complaint and brought Raffin into court where he pleaded guilty and paid fifty dollars and costs.
