Polk County Leads Oregon Agricultural College Enrollment
Polk County sends thirty three pupils to Oregon Agricultural College this year while the campus hosts over a thousand students. All counties except one are represented with two hundred fifty seven women among the student body. Program by field shows Agriculture 167, Domestic Science and Art 164, Civil Engineering 2, Electrical Engineering 161, Mechanical Engineering 133, Mining Engineering 60. About thirty percent are self supporting with many students as heads of families. about fifty percent are partly self sustaining.
