Health officer B H McCallon reports the Schools at Suver have closed due to scarlet fever. Teacher Miss Saville Galloway is ill but recovering and should resume duties soon. The Isia Theatre to test Sunday matinees starting this Sunday at 2 30 p m to gauge patron interest for a continuing program. In Independence last Friday night Carl Tetherow in a Ford collided with a car driven by C Henkle, causing major damage to Tetherow's vehicle. Totherow was en route to pick up Miss Arbuthnot for a casket social at Elkins Schoolhouse. Miss Houx joined Miss Arbuthnot to Elkhilth.
