Subterfuge by Commission Hints at Oregon Highway Disputes
The Oregon highway commission faces criticism over delaying the Polk county post road project to pressure Dallas. A new contract with Polk County Court aims to reclassify routes and loan funds to advance grading and market road design from Monmouth to Luckiamute and toward the Benton county line, highlighting disputes over HB 312 and 314 and raising questions about legality and state authority.
