Tillamook County Farmers Discover New Perennial Clover
Farmers in Tillamook County report a new perennial clover that yields 30 to 60 tons of feed per acre. The Alsike-like plant survives winter and summer with frost not hindering growth and can be propagated from buds and bulbs. A sample was sent to Washington for evaluation, and agronomist J M Westgate praised its potential, with a specialist expected to visit Tillamook.
