Fatal Elevator Accident Claims Herschel Stamp at Port land Hotel
The coroner's jury ruled Herschel Stamp of Monmouth an accidental death after a fall in an Imperial Hotel Portland elevator. He died at Good Samaritan Hospital from hemorrhage. W R Davis, 17, the night elevator boy, testified but some details were disputed. No one was found at fault.
