New Assistant Attorney to Visit Iditarod Area
Fairbanks May 23 Acting under instructions from District Attorney Crossley, his assistant G E Gardner recently arrived from the outside will start for the lower river within the next week. The newly appointed officer will go to Tanana spend a few days before proceeding to Ruby and Iditarod. No definite date has been set for the departure of the court party for the lower river but it is expected to leave here on or about June 1 according to boat sailings. Last year the party left Fairbanks on May 30 and reached here on the return trip by the first week in September.
