Community Recycling Center Opens in Hyde Park Chicago
The Hyde Park Kenwood Community conference opens the first community recycling center at 54th Street and Lake Park Avenue. It accepts cans and bottles during open hours from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and 1 pm to 4 pm on Sundays. Chairwoman Jan Blankethorn invites volunteers by calling 288 8343.
