An 18 month old boy, Jeffrey Johnson, died after a couch fire in a basement apartment at 1028 E 47th Thursday night. His four year old brother Rickey was treated and released after smoke inhalation. The mother Rebecca Johnson said she briefly left the children alone. origin of the fire was undetermined.
