Albert Raby and Odas Nicholson won the 24th Senatorial District delegate positions for the Constitutional Convention opening in Springfield on December 8. Raby led with about 14,000 votes, Nicholson nearly 12,400, while Shakman trailed by under 700 votes. Atthe Belle McGee was fourth.
