Twenty families paid 30 dollars each to become charter members of Cooperative Homes of Hyde Park, the area’s second cooperative housing project. They set November 17 for an organizing meeting and plan to hire a cost analysis consultant to aid in selecting a house and a developer.

City layout to improve safety at 53rd and Kenwood crossing
