Lincoln Park statue moved to University of Chicago campus
A 150 ton Carl Linnaeus statue was moved from Fullerton Parkway and Stockton Drive to in front of the Harper Memorial Library at the University of Chicago. The relocation, funded by Swedish community groups and local banks, faced resident surprise and sparked calls for a replacement statue in Lincoln Park.
