City unveils revised Outer Drive plan for Hyde Park Kenwood
The city presents a 6.5 million improvement package for South Outer Drive with 1.5 million in Jackson Park and lakefront recreational work. Plan includes closing 57th interchange, extending Lake Shore Drive to 59th, parkland swaps, and new facilities along the lakefront. Public meetings set for April 1 Plan Commission and March 27 community session.
