Hyde Park groups honor leaders at banquet and award
The Hyde Park Business and Professional Association held its annual banquet with Eva H. Anderson of the National Bank of Hyde Park as new president. Guests included Walker Sandbach, past president, who will head to Consumer Reports on August 1. Julian Levi received the Metropolitan Housing and Planning Council’s Champion Fighter for Better Chicago award for leadership. the event also described a summer program at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools aiding 25 culturally disadvantaged boys.
