Chicago board of education voted 7 to 2 to build a 2,500 student high school adjoining Kenwood Elementary at 4959 Blackstone and to rehabilitate Hyde Park High School at 6220 Stony Island. Open enrollment will be allowed between Hyde Park and Kenwood, with Woodlawn and Hyde Park area students eligible.
