Delivery Fee to Go Up25 Cents for Groceries
Effective January 1 1972 the grocery order home delivery will rise 25 cents. Minimum becomes 1.00 for orders to 20.00 with 25 cents more for every 10.00 or fraction thereof. The Co op notes contractor costs rose and a weekly subsidy of 50.00 continues. The increase was delayed from August 30 1971 due to a Wage Price Freeze.

Manager Harvey Asher said weekly deliveries end Saturday morning and do not resume until Tuesday night, prompting a larger Saturday order and new upright shelving to meet demand. A note mentions 1972 skull craft calendars at the Education Desk.
