Seek CCC decision on three urban renewal sites
The Conservation Community Council will meet at 8 p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 12 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. If a quorum is present votes may be taken on disposal of the P8 site at 51st and Drexel and the P12 site in the 5400 block of Cornell. Chairman Edwin Rothschild said the possible change in usage of the 57th and Stony Island site would also be discussed. The CCC will consider DUR recommendations for Hyde Park Kenwood amendments.

Ford Foundation Grant Not Part Of Woodlawn School Project
A $3 million Ford Foundation grant to the University of Chicago will fund urban studies and training for inner city schools, but not the Woodlawn urban education project. The Woodlawn effort, directed by William Congreve, will be federally funded under Title 3 and coordinated with the university for cadre based teacher training. Dr Curtis C Melnick expects collaboration with the university and cadre assignments to inner city public schools. the Woodlawn proposal was due to the Office of Education by January 15, 1968.
