Mr. Randle, a coal dealer, opened his shop Friday morning to find a burglary. An unknown intruder apparently unlocked the door and pried the money drawer, leaving behind only thirteen copper coins. The attacker’s identity remains concealed as the scene suggests a hasty exit.
A couple brought from Parteidge in fall faced jail after authorities pursued a stool gang hiring malls near Parteidge. The two named Munden and Swickard resisted officers, were subdued, jailed, and charged with offering liquor violations. A wagon search yielded liquor as a new charge likely to extend their sentence. The case concerns a large county building project and Coward spring.
Mr Libbey of Partridge recently left Stewart's hospital after an arm amputation from a work accident with a conveyor. He was mugged while injured. doctors attempted to save the limb but it was lost. His father, once a well known constable, plans a move to Wichita.
