In Juneau on Thursday afternoon Judge Henry P. Hughes dismissed the cases against Vincent Klink, Nicholas Klink, and Eugenes Klink after a conference between state and defense attorneys. District Attorney Clarence Troeger cited lack of contact with several asylum trustees, illness, winter travel, and unresolved asylum rules as the basis for the dismissal.

Henry Marphl aged 73 a well known farmer north of the area died suddenly at his home Sunday evening due to a heart attack. A community birthday gathering at the Wm Hane feld home honored Mrs Hane feld on Sunday drew many neighbors. Several families from Burnett and Juneau joined in the Willard Woock birthday celebration at the Woock home on Sunday evening.
