Fugitive Prisoner Surrenders After Flight With Girl
Donald Bergen, 33, returns to Waupun State Prison to finish a 7 to 14 year term for third degree murder and to face new penalties for crimes while a fugitive. He fled July 15 in Warden John Burke's car, rousing the warden at 1 15 Friday. A 13 year old Waupun girl who accompanied him on the escape also came back with him. Bergen claimed he got foolish and frank as flavoring extract and then lost his heel.
