Ashippun Man Takes Own Life No Inquest
Sheriff Harold Hamme and County Coroner Dr. Earl Quackin investigated the death of Gust Krubaack, 64, whose body was found hanging in a barn. Evidence showed suicide due to despondency over gasoline rationing. an inquest was deemed unnecessary. He was preceded by a rationing board hearing and told friends it was impossible to obtain more gasoline. He is survived by two brothers.
