We viewed the ruins of a 40 by 90 foot barn on the John Christian farm in town Herman. Sparks from a threshing machine blower ignited a straw stack and spread to the barn. About 100 tons of hay and 2000 bushels of grain were destroyed. Loss covered by Hustisford Farmers Mutual Insurance Company.
