Abraham Lincoln Memorial Services Recall Great Emancipator

Soldiers of the G A R honor Lincoln on his anniversary. Accounts recount Lincoln's height six feet four inches and devout nature observed by attendees including H S Mouser. The gathering included tales from veterans who met Lincoln and reflections on his impact linked to the square deal era. Grand and petit jurors are listed for the local panel.

Winfield Waldron, 18, Dies After Pneumonia Rush

Winfield Scott Waldron, son of Mrs. E. C. Waldron, died last Sunday after a four day illness from pneumonia. He was born October 23, 1887 in Milford township Beadle county and lived in the area all his life before moving with his family to Huron last fall. Funeral was held Tuesday at the Methodist church with burial at Riverside. He attended the Utah building school and was popular among local youth.
