Huntley Community Credit Union observed its fifteenth anniversary after being chartered September 26 1950. It began with nine members and 9 75 in savings and now serves 1289 members with assets of 342 564 37. First president Emil Meyer, current president Delwin Barhart, and treasurer general manager Raymond Jelley led the organization.

Ring Found After 30 Years Ties School to Lost Class Ring
A 1934 Huntley High School class ring washed up at Grafton Park beach is identified by initials F L. Frank Lawson, then a graduate, recalls losing it in 1935 near the shore and is glad to reclaim the heirloom after decades underwater.
