Dr James O Laughlin DDS of Huntley Medical Center spoke to Huntley High School cooperative education class about communications and public relations. He stressed dental appearance and hygiene reflect personal habits and that job interviews judge character. The Board of Education met September 11 1972 approving minutes bills fencing contract for Mill Street yard to Fox Valley Fencing 1373 with all votes in favor.

The organizational meeting of the Huntley Athletic Boosters club formed officers Gene Lindsey president Norm Brettschneider treasurer Chuck Ruth football chair Mike Zorica basketball chair and Tom Swanson baseball chair. Activities include selling taffy apples and coffee at home games and megaphones at the Hampshire game. Plans include a bus trip to Richmond a homecoming float and contests. Membership is open to anyone interested in promoting athletics. next meeting is 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 27 at the American Legion.

Huntley High School Class Reunions Combined for 24th and 25th
The 1947 and 1948 Huntley High School alumni held a joint reunion at Pinecrest Golf and Country Club in Huntley Illinois. About 15 attendees from the Class of 1947 and 10 from the Class of 1948 joined spouses for the event with several gifts and a drawing. Jack Haldrupp traveled the farthest from Indiana to attend.

In fall 1973 the Lite Eight will add Earlville High School and Wheaton Christian High School to compete in all sports. The conference will comprise Central Burlington, Earlville, Genoa Kingston, Hampshire Hebron, Hiawatha Kirkland, Huntley, Mooseheart, Richmond Burton, and Wheaton Christian.
