PTA Basketball Game Thanks and Fund Drive
The PTA expresses gratitude to four teams players officials and volunteers who made the basketball game a success. School shows Physical Education program sample with 200 students
About 200 students from grade 4 through 12 participated in a gym show last Thursday November 14. Exhibitions in gymnastics tumbling trampoline and dancing used black light. Superintendent Marks stressed it was a sample of the Physical Education program not a talent show. Pictures appear on page six.

Deer Killed Legally in Grafton Township by Vernon Brunschon
The first deer legally killed in Grafton Township in years was shot Sunday at 9 a.m. by Vernon Brunschon on the Paul Winger Farm Ballard Road after days of scouting. Brunschon said the eight point buck died after an early morning shot and a later chase with Chuck Akerberg and Bob Schachtner. Deer season is closed but will reopen in three weeks for three days.
