Huntley Harvesters Elect Captain and Hear Talks

Huntley Fresh-Soph track team won the 1st place trophy at Central on Friday May 15 with a team score of 66. Genoa 62 Malta 29 Hampshire 22 Central 21 and Richmond 10 followed. Individual winners include Enstrom Rasmussen Borhart Weber and Zemla with top marks in high jump dash and hurdles.

Tea Held To Honor May Chesak For 41 Years Of Teaching
Mrs. May Chesak was honored at Greenwood School on Sunday May 17 for 41 years in McHerry County elementary schools. Attended by 300plus, she led Huntley nine years as principal and bus driver during the war. She organized three paper drives to fund the library and plans to retire soon.
