Huntley School Summer Reading Program Opens

School Board meeting approves budget and new staff
The School Board of Education of Schroads held a June 20 meeting with all members present. They approved a contract for Bonnie ive to reach 3rd grade and the 1967 68 teacher budget of 19 633 dollars, unchanged except for adding a new mechanics course. The board authorized purchasing sewing machines and cabinets for 900 dollars and new equipment for the commercial department including three Commodore adding machines two transcribing machines a dictaphone a Victor calculator six Olympic typewriters and a mimeograph model 320 duplicator.
