Huntley Band Wins First at Harvard Milk Day Parade
Huntley High School Band, practicing in heat, won first place in Class C at Harvard Milk Day Parade. After parade, they stayed in Wisconsin Dells at Birchcliff Lodge, enjoyed swimming and a scenic Upper Dells boat ride, and returned home by 8:30 p.m. The trip followed the motto Practice Makes Perfect as stated by director Mr. Tirk.
