Grafton Beach Opens Likely for Huntley Residents This Summer
Inquiries to the Huntley Farmeide newspaper note the Park Board lacks a quorum and the beach is not officially open for 1965. President David Lorence says Huntley residents may swim and picnic without charge as taxes were paid. Secretary Robert Seavere says the park is closed but the gate is open and no lifeguards are on duty. Residents swim at their own risk before an official opening and lifeguards are on duty.
