Election Schedule for ASCS Elections in Mc Henry County
Walter E. Austin announced dates and locations for annual community ASCS elections in Mc Henry County. Each community will elect six members with two alternates, one member to serve as Chairman and delegate to the County Convention on July 3. Township elections run July 17 to July 24 beginning at 8:00 p.m. Locations include Grafton and Algonquin townships at Huntley Bowling Alley basement on July 17 1962.

Huntley Consolidated School Board Minutes July Meeting
Huntley Consolidated School Board met Friday evening July 13 for regular session. Minutes from June 8 11 and 14 were approved and necessary fund transfers were authorized. Preparation for the new school year began with student registration set for late August and classes starting September 4. The financial report was read by E Stading. Carl Polacek resigned as of June 16. he served as Assistant Coach and Social Studies teacher. Five new typewriters were purchased to replace Miss Martins classes. Discussion covered potential purchase of a new school bus. Currengj falls were checked and approved before adjournment.

Post Office Changes Huntley Mail Delivery Schedule
New P O and Post Mente Shira Michelson announce Huntley mail delivery schedule changes. Out of town mail into Huntley will arrive four hours earlier. Boxholders and Rural Route Patrons will receive mail about one hour earlier. Office hours are 8 30 a m to 5 30 p m Monday to Saturday except Thursday 8 30 to noon.
