Special meeting held January 19 1976 at Huntley High School to approve Title 2 and 3 for 1975 76 and review the audit. Ziller present Ruth absent. Motion to approve 6 0 carry. Parental leave denied 6 0 carry. Meeting adjourned.
Police logged minor vehicle accidents in Huntley School Parking lot and Fast Main Street area with no injuries or citations. An eighteen year old, Craig A. Tracy, was arrested for Driving with License Suspended with Feb 23 court. Dennis A. McCafferty, 19, jailed for No Valid Drivers License. Two youths, James Hosick 18 and Steven Tracy 17, charged with disorderly conduct.
Carl Walde will retire from the U S Postal Service on January 31 1976 after more than 21 years at Huntley Post Office He started as Postal Clerk on December 13 1954 and served under the last two postmasters A retirement reception with cake and coffee will be held Friday January 30 1976 at the post office from 9 to 12 and 1 to 4 30 p m Friends and customers are invited to attend and wish him well.
The Huntley Bicentennial Flag was stolen from the Village Park flag pole within the last two weeks. Chief Dziewicr saw it last. Congressman Robert McCClery had presented the flag last summer. The flag was raised by an Honor Guard from the Huntley police and later found lowered after the theft. police seek information on who removed it.

Henry Brackman marked his 90th birthday with an open house at Trinity Lutheran Church on January 25 attended by about 110 friends and relatives. Born January 28, 1836, he lived in Bloomingdale Township, farmed along Harmony Road from 1935 to 1967, and now resides with his daughter Mildred Harting in Marengo. His son Ralph Brackman and daughter in law organized the event, followed by a family dinner in the church hall.
