Door to door drive by United Cerebral Palsy aids McHenry County
The United Cerebral Palsy Association of Blackhawk Region will hold its door to door drive in McHenry County from January 12 to January 26. They seek at least 1,000 volunteers. local funds support regional programs with 30 percent remaining locally and 70 percent sent to state and national groups for research and statewide efforts.

Preparation for Parenthood class at Memorial Hospital
Memorial Hospital offers free two part Preparation for Parenthood sessions for expectant mothers and fathers. The first class on prenatal care features a film and discussion, the second covers labor and delivery, and the final session addresses mother and newborn care.
