Pancake Day Success At Huntley Medical Building
The Directors of the Huntley Medical Building Inc thank volunteers and donors after the Third Annual Pancake Day. About 650 people were served a pancake meal on April 18 with special guest Jacki Gommal greeting attendees. Summer School Registration and Calendar of Activities
Registration outlines June 14 to July 23 sessions from 8 30 to noon with emphasis on enrichment over remedial work and a team teaching structure. Grades 1 3 will have three teachers, grades 4 6 another trio, grades 7 8 two, plus specialists. Activities include field trips arts crafts nature studies music cooking dramatics reading and math enrichment. A calendar lists events from April to June including banquets baseball tournaments dances awards and graduation.

The week features daily meals including Orange Juice and hot dogs on Monday with pickles and beans, Tuesday offers Italian Lasagna or PBJ with salad, Wednesday serves Meat Loaf with potatoes and Jello, Thursday presents Roast Beef and Oven Baked Fish with sides.
Centenary Sunday Observance at Trinity Church Huntley
Trinity Lutheran Church Huntley hosts the third Centenn ial Sunday with 8:00 and 10:15 A.M. services. Rev Arthur F Schroeder, former Huntley pastor, now directs institutional ministries in Colorado, preaches on The Healing Church. Potluck follows the 10:15 service and mission slides show work of Beversdorf in the Philippine Islands and Zaigd in Australia. Centennial displays will be for sale after each service.

Huntley High Seeks State Honors in Livestock Dairy Crops Contests
Huntley High School students will compete for top honors in the State Live stock Dairy and Crops Judging Contests at the University of Illinois Urbana May 1. Three three man teams represent Huntley with livestock members Glen Barhart Bill Rath Steve Nevel and dairy team Alan Rath Steve Van Acker Ron Betterman. Contests include judging beef cattle swine and sheep and evaluating dairy cattle production records and combined type traits.
