Arrests Made in Golf Course and School Burglaries
Larry Lembkey, 23, of Woodstock Illinois was arrested for theft over 150 dollars on April 14 for items stolen from Pinecrest Country Club. A search of his residence revealed golf course and Huntley High School thefts. a later April 19 arrest covered the Huntley School burglary. Also reported is a Bowl Hi Lanes break in with vent entry, boiler room door removal, cash and clothing taken.

Ronald Jirik 138 votes Daniel Ziller 114 Robert Kunde 47 Alfred Jordi Jr 1 and others listed. Motion to approve canvass passed 6 to 0. Ackman Named to All Star NJCAA Team at Elgin Tournament. Gene Ackman named to NJCAA sectional all star team for February 24 26 at Elgin.

Annual Huntley FFA Banquet Highlights and Open Houses
The Huntley FFA Banquet happened Friday April 21 at the Congregational Church with 90 attendees. Alexander McArthur, chairman of Illinois Race Track Commission, spoke on horse racing. Honors were given to James Schultz, Harry Isenhart, Gary Betterman, John Drafall, Mike Hoffman, Tom Kohrey, John Kearns, Tom Molitor, James Hennig, Dean Landors, Craig Miller, Mark Ostrander, Mike Schweiger, and Ron Hafferkamp. Open houses at Huntley Medical Center and Pinecrest Golf Course drew residents and enthusiasts with tours, refreshments, and a chic golf-event setting.
